About us
In Te Reo, the word Tiaki means to guard, preserve and protect. Our core objective is to provide dog owners support in meeting their dog’s needs. Whether that be helping them get their daily exercise and mental stimulation or providing a safe and happy space for them to stay when their owners are away.
Georgina (owner)
I have always been a dog lover, and am passionate about their welfare. I have been dog walking and dog sitting for many years now and have found I am happiest when I have a dog by my side. I am currently studying for a certificate in Dog Psychology, Behaviour and Training and have a mentorship with a New Zealand-based canine trainer. Me and my team will go above and beyond to ensure your pup has a really amazing and special experience while they are in our care.
Lilly
Lilly is my beautiful mother. She loves animals and grew up in a household where they always owned a dog as most Samoan households do. Mum is retired now and is always home to help me when I am dog boarding. She loves having furry guests for her to spend time with and spoil.
Gail
Gail was raised on a farm in Dargaville with working dogs and is an impressive horse rider. She is a lover of all animals and is a natural with them. She also loves getting out in nature and going on a good hike so your furry friend will enjoy many adventures while in her care. She currently volunteers at Ambury Farm assisting disabled people with horse riding for therapy. Gail opens her home for dog boarding and is available for house-sitting and dog walking.
